Asana AI
Asana says neither Asana nor its AI partners use customer data to train AI models, and partners must delete customer data after completion of the individual AI query.
Customer usage metadata and user-generated content can be processed to provide AI features, but Asana and its AI partners do not use that customer data to train or improve AI models.
Administrators can enable or disable Asana AI for the organisation or workspace. Disabling prevents that data from being processed to power the features.
Asana AI processes relevant workspace metadata and user-generated content subject to existing Asana permissions. Partner-powered features may process data in US or EU locations depending on chosen residency.
Asana says AI partners are contractually required to delete customer data when an individual AI query completes. Underlying Asana workspace records and other feature logs remain under Asana platform retention.
Asana says its AI features are designed to include human-review steps and that humans remain responsible for applying AI decisions, recommendations, and insights.
