Figma AI
Figma says customer content may be used to train Figma AI models when the Content Training admin setting is on; third-party model providers are not permitted to train their own models on customer Figma content.
Content Training controls whether Figma may use customer content to maintain and improve Figma AI. Education and Government accounts are excluded from that training path.
Admins can turn Content Training off in AI settings. New content and edits after the toggle is turned off are not used for training. Defaults differ by plan: on for Starter/Professional, off for Organization/Enterprise.
Figma says it de-identifies and redacts sensitive information when using content for training, and third-party providers receive only temporary processing needed to run AI features.
Third-party model providers may store data temporarily or not at all to process requests. The reviewed materials do not reduce every Figma AI log path to one short retention period.
The reviewed AI Terms and Help Center materials focus on training controls and vendor limits rather than one general human-review statement.
