What changed

During Pakistan's 2024 general elections, purportedly AI-generated deepfakes of a politically motivated nature were circulated. These deepfakes reportedly portrayed political figures in misleading contexts, spreading misinformation and aiming to influence voter perceptions and election outcomes.
